Myers Briggs - Training Courses, Workshops, Coaching and Mentoring
Delivered by a qualified practitioner
Myers Briggs is the most widely used psychological development tool as it measures the natural preferences people bring to work every day.
It is extremely effective in enabling individuals to identify their strengths and provides in a practical way a better understanding of themselves, their motivations and potential areas for
development and growth. Equally it also enables individuals to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of other people and different operating styles.
The profile questionnaire, that attendees are asked to complete prior to the course (known as MBTI - Myers Briggs Type Indicator), is not a test as there is no measure of ability, it measures preferences. it is therefore a proven personality profiling tool for enhancing understanding in individuals, teams and organisations and thus enabling better performance.
It can be used in various ways and brings many benefits. It can be delivered with a group of people, used on a more bespoke basis as a 1-1 coaching aid or a combination of both mediums, which is often recommended as the most effective approach,
Benefits include:
- A deeper understanding of individuals
- Realisation of strengths
- Identification of development areas
- Management and leadership development to appreciate the impact of personal style on others
- Improving communication through listening, influencing and persuading more successfully
- Increasing awareness of a team's working style
- Recognising why people react to change in different ways

- Understanding individual reactions to stress and what to do about it

- Career guidance
The Participants
Managers, team leaders and team members will find the principles of the MBTI beneficial. It is a tool which helps individuals understand themselves and others, in order to bring about improved performance.
The Outcome
These sessions are focused around increasing productivity in the workplace. Managers with a greater awareness of the operational preferences of their team and colleagues can more easily adapt their own style of leadership / management and communication, leading to increased personal effectiveness when managing a team and influencing others.
As part of the course attendees are given an Introduction to TYPE booklet which provides the initial information necessary to make constructive use of the MBTI and also offers some further practical guidance and ideas of application.
